Thank you for sharing your house with us. Little bit noisy because of the gasstation in front, but we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful little town.

This is a beautiful home with history in Seydisfjordur. We enjoyed our stay very much. The washing machine was very helpful as we had been mostly on the road for a few days. The stairs are a bit steep but nothing that can?t be handled with care. Hulder is an excellent host and was good to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend!

It is an old house but lovely renovated in a very nice place. It was clean and well taken care of. We could only stay here for two nights, but is was nice to recover there from the activities from the days before.

Great place to stay nice lay-out of the house.
good location.
good ground floor to hang around in.
good amenities
we enjoyed it the 4 of us ( kids 10 and 12) and the house have room for more people than just 4!.
We would stay again if we go back (6 times in Iceland so not unlikely) thanks a lot for having us
Ps
for others
- first floor stairs are fine if you are between 6y and 70 years if older or younger I would say stay on the mail floor as the stairs are steep - we did not see any "child-fence" at the top either so currently toddlers ground floor only recommend from our point of view - of cause you can work around it. - just nice to know

We loved this little town, with a very friendly pub 2 doors away! Great food and drink, very casual, very local, a perfect experience for those travelling. This cute little house is very conveniently located, and the town is nice if you like to walk around in the evening. The stairs to the second floor in this house are very steep, so you must be careful, especially if you are trying to maneuver a suitcase up there, which is necessary for most guests. If I were the owner, I would try to find a way to change the stairs orientation. The kitchen is very basic, but it certainly had everything we needed. I like that there is a bathroom on the first floor as well as on the second floor.
The town has many small homes from what looks like the early 1900s. Very quaint and beautiful with excellent views and more waterfalls. The mountain pass getting in here was far wilder than I expected, and is over 15 miles of mountain driving. You definitely want to check the weather before attempting this. We had snow, but it was passable ... and beautiful. There is a major town on the other side of the pass for any supplies you might need, if you can't get them in the town. The town is right on the water, so if you like watching boats and birds, you should enjoy staying here. I would certainly stay in this house again when heading back to Iceland.

All the best,
Bob H.

A very lovely house, and also very well situated in the town. We were two families and the house suited our needs very well. The location is also very beautiful. Would definitely stay there again if we are fortunate enough to be in the area again. This was not a problem for us, but if someone has mobility issues, the stairs to the bedroom are very steep and they would be difficult to climb. Otherwise, would highly recommend!

Excellent! Highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Two couples, and for a short time three couples, occupied the house. We came to hike. The location has excellent access to hiking. The house is charming, comfortable, and well kept up. Also, the price was within our budget...we are not wealthy. I really appreciate the owner pricing the house accordingly, and if that does not change, we will be back with other friends!

The property was excellent. It was very spacious, equipped to a high standard, and had everything you needed to make it a great place to stay.

My only caution would be that the stairs to the 2nd level are very steep, so would not be suitable for elderly people or people with very young children.

Wonderful house, cozy and welcoming. Near one of the best restaurants Hotel Aldan . The scenery around the house comes straight from a fairy tail.

Super nice cottage, enough space for 10 people. There are two bathrooms, but only one shower so be quick if everyone wants hot water ;)

Absolutely loved this property! A gorgeous house, loads of space, lots of toys for the kids (we were 3 families, totalling 10 people), well equipped, brilliant location. The owner is professional and helpful and we especially appreciated the document she sent before our arrival with directions and local information. Perfect.
