The house has two floors, this is the second floor. There are 2 rooms with Double beds and sleeping loft, living room with kitchen, TV, DVD, wc/shower. Porch with garden furniture and a char grill. Comfortable first class summer house for 4-6 persons. Private entrance to both floors. Possible to rent bed linen.

Great views over Skagafjörður fjord and surrounding mountains, good walking and sightseeing options in the area and excellent bird watching. Guests can visit the cowshed and see the cows being milked.

It was the best accommodation in my 14 days trip in Iceland. The host was friendly and hospitable. She invited us to her farm and answer the every question related to local life. Additionally, her two lovely dogs were also friendly : ). The house facilities were well-equipped. the heaters and hot water for shower were hot enough. Kitchen appliances were easy to use and sufficient. The whole environment was clean, neat and tidy. The location is good for traveler to enjoy the natural scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

We stayed for three days. The property was clean and the host welcoming. The new electrical BBQ was great. The kitchen however is old and used. There is now dish washer.

We stayed here in April, and it was absolutely beautiful! The cabin is clean and cozy, and the owners helpful and friendly. We were only two, but could have been 6 or 7 and still had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and relax. The kitchen is well-outfitted and perfect for cooking a lovely meal at home (restaurant selection in the area is limited). The house is set on a hill overlooking the Skagafjordur river delta, with mountains all around-- gorgeous views. We would definitely return for another stay.
